The American-Austrian Cultural Society hosted their annual "Heurigen" on October 27, 2024 in Bethesda, MD, giving the attendees a real taste of an authentic Viennese Heurigen, or wine travern. The guests enjoyed Liptauerbrote, Sachertorte, Apfelstrudel and listened to traditional Wienerlieder, including a sing-along of Wien, Wien nur du allein with Austrian music duo Liab' and Schneid, as well as a visit by Austrian Ambassador Petra Schneebauer.
