The Embassy had the pleasure to host the Annual Botstiber Lecture 2024 with the Botstiber Institute for Austrian-American Studies on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Dr. John Boyer, Senior Advisor to the President and the Martin A. Ryerson Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago, engaged the crowd with a lively speech on “Modern City-Making in Europe and America: Vienna and Chicago on the Threshold of the Twentieth Century,” followed by a brief Q&A.

We are grateful for the Botstiber Institute's commitment to research in the field of Austrian-American studies.
