Lunch for Austrian Memorial Servants in Los Angeles
Consul General Michael Postl with Austrian Memorial Servants in Los Angeles.
On October 8, 2024, Consul General Michael Postl hosted a special lunch in Los Angeles for the Austrian memorial servants (Österreichischer Auslandsdienst) currently on duty at esteemed institutions such as the USC Shoah Foundation, Museum of Tolerance, Holocaust Museum L.A., and the Simon Wiesenthal Center.
We are deeply grateful for their dedicated service and unwavering commitment to preserving the memory of those who suffered during the darkest chapters of our history. Their discussions during the lunch emphasized the vital role their work plays in fostering understanding, tolerance, and promoting awareness within our communities. A heartfelt thank you to all the memorial servants for their invaluable contributions and for being such important representatives of Austria here in Los Angeles.
