AI & FemTech: Accelerating Innovation in Healthcare

On January 13, Open Austria and the ABA - INVEST in AUSTRIA hosted an exclusive side event during the 43rd J.P. Morgan Health Conference, exploring the transformative role of AI in FemTech.

Kicking off the evening, Co-Director Isabella Tomás highlighted Austria’s dynamic health tech ecosystem, followed by a panel discussion titled "AI & Healthcare: Accelerating FemTech." Moderated by Marianna Bonechi, the panel featured:

Panelists discussed AI-driven solutions in fertility, cycle tracking, and IVF, addressing the challenges of funding and the growing $30B market. From advances in data analysis to safeguarding patient privacy, the conversation underscored AI’s transformative potential in women’s health.

The event concluded with a vibrant networking session attended by 120+ founders, executives, investors - all Austrians and friends of Austria, including a delegation from Tyrol - doubling as Open Austria’s Kickoff for 2025.
