Burgenland Cultural Club Celebrates 100th Anniversary with Ambassador Schneebauer

The First Burgenländer Austria SC of New York celebrated its 100th anniversary at the Plattduetsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square, NY on October 22, 2023. Ambassador Petra Schneebauer attended the festivities along with New York Consul General Helene Steinhäusl, Burgenland Governor Hans Peter Doskozil, Burgenland Landesrat Leonhard Schneemann, Burgenland State Parliament President Emeritus Verena Dunst. The German folk band from Philadelphia, Die Heimatklänge, provided entertainment together with folk dancing by Die Erste Gottscheer Tanzgruppe. The First Burgenländer Austria SC of NY also introduced Stefanie Weber as the 2024 Miss Burgenland - NY.
