On February 27, 2023, the Austrian Consul General in Los Angeles, Michael Postl, had the pleasure to present the Decoration Of Honor In Gold For Services To The Republic Of Austria to the former Austrian Honorary Consul in San Francisco, Peter Fredricks. He was awarded this prestigious decoration not only for his 15 years of serving as Honorary Consul, but also for his efforts in promoting Austrian interests in the Bay Area, as well as for being a strong liaison within the Austrian-American Community. The festive decoration ceremony took place at the San Francisco City Hall.
