Hello Florida!

On January 10, 2025 Ambassador Schneebauer attended the 64th International Red Cross Ball in Palm Beach, Florida. This year the Ball honored past Chairman Ambassador Bonnie McElveen-Hunter for her two decades of service to the Red Cross. She received the Bonnie McElveen Hunter Global Humanitarian Award from her successor Gail McGovern.

The Ball was attended by more than a dozen international Ambassadors, dignitaries and guests from all over the world, including, Albania, Austria, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Jamaica, Kosovo, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, and Thailand. The funds raised will go to the American Red Cross disaster relief efforts.

While in Miami, the Ambassador also had to chance to meet with members of the Miami Business Club, including a number of successful Austrians living and doing business in the city.
