Hello Vermont!

On the weekend from November 30 until December 1, 2024, Ambassador Schneebauer was on a sports diplomacy mission visiting our partner state Vermont to cheer for the Austrian Ski Team at the Killington Stifel Cup.
It was a welcome opportunity to connect with the Governor of Vermont, Phil Scott, the Secretary of the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development, Lindsay Hill Kurrle, and U.S. Army Major General Gregory Knight, Adjutant General of the Vermont National Guard.
The weekend wasn’t just about winter sports, however, it was also a celebration of the strong friendship and collaboration between Austria and Vermont. Skiing is just one of many of our ties and a shared passion that unites us. A heartfelt thank you to all involved in making this event so special!
