On September 17th, 2023, we gathered at the Thomas Mann House in Pacific Palisades/Los Angeles to pay a heartfelt tribute to the life and legacy of a truly remarkable Austrian-American composer, music educator and music critic for the Los Angeles Times: Walter Arlen.

Last week, Mrs. Veronika Reinelt, President of the Austrian-American Council West (AACW), was presented with the Decoration of Honor in Gold for her services to the Republic of Austria at the Austrian Residence in Los Angeles.
