Austrian Start-Up Landing Zone in San Francisco
Nine Austrian startups were selected to venture out on a unique journey to be challenged, accelerated, and pushed beyond their limits in a four week long GoUSA (formerly GoSiliconValley) Startup Landing Zone program in San Francisco throughout the month of October at Open Austria, the joint office of the Federal Ministry of European and International Affairs and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.

Austrian Minister of Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology Leonore Gewessler traveled to Washington, DC for meetings with her bilateral counterparts on September 19-20, 2022. In Washington, she met with Federal Energy Regulatory Commissioner Allison Clements and U.S. Department of Energy Deputy Secretary David Turk. That same day she also met with Managing Director of Operations at the World Bank Axel van Trostsenburg and the Vice President for Sustainable Development Jürgen Vögele.
